Nitro Girl … an Illegal Alien?!
ByColboarder Rikimae brought this to the attention of the Colbert Nation a couple of days ago, and it was too good of a scoop not to share.
In the segment, Difference Makers, Stephen told us about a difference maker, Ed Warbany, who was marketing American Patriotism with a 50ft statue of a lady, named Nitro Girl.. Nitro Girl is a great symbol for America… Stephen even said that she was like Lady Liberty, except that she doesn’t welcome immigrants… well.. there is reason for that… Nitro Girl IS an immigrant… she is actually Canadian….

Canadians, infiltrating TCR bits.
A job well done. :)

So, per tckayla’s links, the one featured on TCR might not actually be Canadian … I wonder where he bought it from. Someone needs to make a road trip to that guy’s town and ask him. Although I don’t know much about Uniroyal – is that a Canadian company? Trying to infiltrate America the Beautiful by placing statues of scantily dressed party girls in the heartland of OUR country??? This might be even more scandalous than ever thought possible!

I don’t know about that first picture. However, I can tell you this, I live right next door to “Nitro Woman.” She used to be in a green skirt and yellow top. I watched them Prime her and re-paint her in her current attire. Which is Nitro Woman.
