PREVIEW: U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva on BKAD tonight – “Are you stupid or what?”

HAHAHA! I like this man’s wife. We mentioned this BKAD was happening yesterday, but here’s another verification. From the Arizona Daily Star:

Grijalva will appear on Comedy Central tonight

It’s not uncommon for members of Arizona’s congressional delegation to appear on national television to talk about legislation. But it’s not often you find one on Comedy Central while surfing through the channels.

That changes tonight, with U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva set to appear on the satire show “The Colbert Report.”

The show airs on Comedy Central at 11:30 p.m. It will rerun Friday at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Grijalva will be a guest during a segment called “Better Know A District.”

Host Stephen Colbert peppers representatives with over-the-top questions, but always with a straight face.

“Once I committed, I couldn’t get out of it,” Grijalva said last month. “My wife told me, ‘Are you stupid or what?’”

Grijalva has been in office since 2003. He represents Arizona’s Congressional District 7, which covers the Southwest portion of the state.
