I thought Colboogle was a really cool idea, and was sad when for some reason, it just stopped working. But I saw this message on TheColbertReport.com today:
COLBoogle.com is back!
Mar 22, 2007 – 5:17 PM – by ChuckI so apologize it was down for so long. I had it fixed earlier but for some reason it wasn’t working again.
There have been changes made. The main suggestion was to search all the sites together rather than each site individually so that is how it is now set up. Your search how searches the whole web but weights results from most all the major Colbert related sites as the most important so they come up first.
When you search COLBoogle the sites being searched are: colboard.com, colbertnation.com, thecolbertreport.com, wikiality.com, nofactzone.net along with some others. I don’t recall them all at the moment.
Hopefully you guys like this change, if not voice your opinion and I will try to make it the best possible Colbert search for everybody.
RSS feeds and other things are still in the works to make it a great source for everything Colbert. I set everything up but the RSS reader thing I got did seem to work properly so if anybody knows of a good one that is cheap I would love the suggestions.
