According to the MDP (Macoupin Democratic Press), is residents of the “Fightin’ 17th” should tune in this Thursday to see their congressman match wits with Stephen Colbert:
Phil Hare to Appear on the Colbert Report
US Representative Phil Hare (17th District) will be appearing on the Colbert Report on Thursday on what is known as the “Better Know a District” segment of the show at 10:30 P.M. Representative Hare’s district includes Macoupin County, which was pivitol in his nomination to be the Democratic candidate to replace former Rep. Lane Evans, as well as his election victory over Andrea Zinga last November.
