Well, the Comedy Central marketing department certainly caught my eye with this
ByThe Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner comes to DVD on March 20th, and it’s got some tempting extras.
On March 20th Comedy Central is bringing the unrated “Roast of William Shatner” to DVD. Extended and unrated, the DVD will have a lot more material than what we saw on television.
The DVD also includes red carpet interviews, behind the scenes footage, and clips from other successful Comedy Central shows, “The Colbert Report,” “Drawn Together,” and “Reno 911!”
And what is this mystery Colbert Report material, you ask? According to www.PARConline.biz, we can expect to see a little something called, “The Colbert Report: Fart Jokes.”

Umm, before anyone actually gets excited about this…
Every Comedy Central dvd release has 2 or 3 “Comedy Central Quickies”. These are pieces of CC content added on to dvds, and they function as promos.
That “little something” is an old bit. “Fart Jokes” can be viewed here without spending $20:

TCR has appeared on at least one other CC dvd release this way(Stella season 1).
So yeah… just to be clear, nobody should be expecting new/exclusive content.

I happened upon a clip in the Comedy Central TCR archives called “Fart Jokes” a few days ago .. while searching for SOMETHING ELSE. So if this is it, you can see it here and save yourself the Shatner (eek!)

Okay, good to know what to expect (and what not to expect). Thanks for the additional info . . .

I really dislike the Comedy Central Quickies, especially when used as a marketing tool.
