Dishing on the Colbert Ice Cream Scoop

For those of you still wondering about those crazy Stephen Colbert-themed ice cream rumors, we got a very interesting comment from someone from a very famous natural food store’s IP (and from their corporate headquarter city, no less):

It is true. Just saw it today. The Colbert ice cream is vanilla with fudge covered waffle cone pieces and a caramel swirl.

Sounds tasty! We’ve got our feelers out, but if anyone wishes to chime in about this new unsubstantiated, yet terribly tasty, rumor, please feel free to do so!

Wow, that sounds *amazing*. Like a Drumstick. Good thing I watch my TCR reruns on the treadmill.

But I really wonder what the theme/meaning is. The waffle pieces, especially — isn’t “Stephen” a fan of forming a fast strong opinion, ie. never waffling?

I guess this means we can eliminate the “Colberry” idea. And anything patriotic. I’m stumped!
