I am fairly new to the L&O franchise, but I was happy to catch this episode. I thought SC's performance was amazing; he was good to the point that I forgot who the actor was and really felt for the character. To me, that's the sign of talent and performance quality.

  2. I, too, thought that his acting was great, especially the last scene. You could really see the hurt in his eyes and hear it in his voice.

  3. Thai Guy says:

Stephen Colbert still felt like Stephen Colbert for the first few scenes, but by the last scene, he was great. I just dont like his voice in the dramatic roles though. I’m not sure why…

  4. I missed it earlier today, but they are rerunning it at 12:00am. I’ll catch it then. I watched a clip of that on YouTube and he’s an awesome actor there. Very convincing. Yes especially at the end of the scene. It just feels weird to see him out of his normal roles.

    Lets spell it Nation

  5. Pat Andrews says:

Stephen Colbert’s acting was so amazing in this episode that I didn’t even recognize him until halfway through. I would like to see him in more dramatic roles.

  6. I saw the episode yesterday. I really liked it because Stephen did a really good job. His acting felt so real, especially that last scene. My heart was racing when it ended.

  7. Kathleen Martin says:

Wow. I’d forgotten that it takes such a good actor to be such a good comic actor. Stephen, when “The Colbert Report” runs dry, you have a future in serious drama!!
